Click “Book an Appointment” or call us. We will match you with a therapist who aligns with your needs and walk you through the next steps. You do not have to do the hard stuff alone. Support is here.
Your first session is about getting to know you, your story, and what brought you in. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Your therapist will ask questions to understand your goals, your challenges, and what you want life to feel like. There is no pressure to “perform” or have everything figured out. We take it one step at a time.
Nope. Just show up. If it helps, you can jot down a few things you want to talk about, but it is not required. Many people walk in saying, “I don’t know what to say,” and we promise, you will not stay stuck for long.
It might, and that is normal. You are talking to a new person about personal things. But therapists are trained to make the space feel comfortable, safe, and human. Most clients say the awkwardness fades quickly once they realize they are not being judged.
Most clients attend therapy once a week or once every other week. Some people come more often during intense seasons, and others taper down as things improve. Your therapist will work with you to find a rhythm that feels sustainable.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific. Others stay longer to work through deeper patterns, trauma, or long-term goals. You and your therapist will check in regularly about progress and pacing.
Only if you want to. Therapy does not require you to dig into every detail of your history. We focus on what you need now. If understanding your past helps us make sense of the present, we will explore it gently and at your pace.
Then you cry. It is completely normal. This is a safe place where emotions get to come out instead of being stuffed down. You do not need to apologize for being human.
That is normal too. Some people feel numb, shut down, or unsure what they feel. Therapy helps you reconnect with your emotional world in a way that is safe and manageable.
Not exactly. We are not here to dictate your life. But we will offer guidance, strategies, tools, and new perspectives. Think of therapy as a partnership. You bring your expertise on you. We bring our expertise on healing, relationships, and emotional patterns.
It is okay. The therapeutic relationship matters, and you deserve to feel genuinely connected. If the fit does not feel right, we will help you find the therapist on our team who matches your personality, needs, and goals.
Yes. What you say in therapy stays in therapy, with a few safety exceptions required by law. You deserve a space that is private and protected.
Yes. We offer online therapy for clients anywhere in California. Many people choose virtual sessions because they are convenient, flexible, and easier to fit into busy schedules.
Completely normal. Many people come to therapy because something just feels “off” and they do not know why. Your therapist will help you explore what you want, what you need, and what is getting in the way. You do not need to walk in with a 10-point plan.
We use evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, IFS, Trauma Focused CBT, Play Therapy, and emotionally focused strategies. You will learn coping skills, communication tools, grounding techniques, and new ways to navigate stress and relationships.
